Highcharts Bubble Chart
In this section, we will introduce the bubble chart of Highcharts.
We have already learned about Highcharts configuration syntax in the previous sections. Now, let's look at other configurations of Highcharts.
Configuration
Chart Configuration
Set the chart type to 'bubble'. The chart.type
describes the type of the chart. The default value is "line".
The chart.zoomType
property allows configuring chart zooming by dragging the mouse to zoom along the x-axis, y-axis, or both. It can be set to: 'x', 'y', 'xy'.
var chart = {
type: 'bubble',
zoomType: 'xy'
};

The above example output is:
3D Bubble Chart
series.marker
Set the series.marker
gradient to give it a 3D effect.
marker: {
fillColor: {
radialGradient: { cx: 0.4, cy: 0.3, r: 0.7 },
stops: [
[0, 'rgba(255,255,255,0.5)'],
[1, Highcharts.Color(Highcharts.getOptions().colors[0]).setOpacity(0.5).get('rgba')]
]
}
}
