Markdown Lists

Markdown supports ordered and unordered lists.

Unordered lists use asterisks (*), plus signs (+), or hyphens (-) as list markers. These markers should be followed by a space, then the content:

* First item
* Second item
* Third item

+ First item
+ Second item
+ Third item

- First item
- Second item
- Third item

The display result is as follows:

Ordered lists are indicated by numbers followed by a period (.), such as:

1. First item
2. Second item
3. Third item

The display result is as follows:

Nested Lists

To nest lists, simply add two or four spaces in front of the sublist items:

1. First item:
    - First nested element of the first item
    - Second nested element of the first item
2. Second item:
    - First nested element of the second item
    - Second nested element of the second item

The display result is as follows:
