<AppML> Case Study - Introduction

This case study demonstrates how to build a complete <AppML> web application with functionalities to list, edit, and search information from several tables in a database.

What We Will Create

We will use an existing database named Demo.

For each table in the database, we will:

• Create a prototype model
• Create a prototype HTML page
• Create an application model
• Create an HTML template
• Create a complete application

Demo Database

For the case study, we use a subset of the Northwind database pre-installed with MS Office.

This database is well-known and easy to test with PHP, classic ASP, or ASP.NET.

The Demo database includes several tables with data, as shown below:
